We chatted about the film and the idea that women are like the moon, while men are like the sun. What it means to live in a female body that is naturally cyclical in a world that doesn’t acknowledge that.
We also talked about how for so long, periods have been something women were expected to hide, whisper about, and keep secret.
But they don’t need to be secret anymore.
The Cycle Secrets’ Seed & Spark campaign launches September 1! Seed & Spark is a crowdfunding platform that will help raise the funds needed to finish the film and get it out into the world.
