Rhythms in Menopause

This is a question I get a lot. Both from women who miss their rhythms now that their cycle stopped, and from women who never consciously connected with their rhythm when they cycled monthly. But all is not lost!

The answer to the question of having rhythms beyond menopause is Yes!

We are Cyclical beings from the time of our Menarche (our 1st menstrual blood) all the way to the end of our lives. When we start bleeding – we become Lunar Beings, hard-wired to cycle with the moon. We cycle hormonally and emotionally. This doesn’t change if your womb has been surgically removed, and it doesn’t change in peri-menopause or menopause.

In peri-menopause or menopause you simply track your cyclicity by the moon, and by your changing moods, though no longer by your bleeding cycles.

Get curious!

Track the phase of the the moon when you feel expansive, and track it when you need to withdraw and rest. It may correspond to the moon’s expansion and contraction, or not. It may change from month to month, moon to moon. There is not one way that fits all. This is a dance, and it is personal to you. Dance your monthly rhythms in abundance!

What Is Time? Is time linear? Is it a construct? Is it necessary? Who invented this concept, and who does it serve? Can we save?
